UPDATE:  Three Friday (09/25/20) specialty shows are proceeding! 
A recent development has occurred & Sacramento Valley Dog Fanciers Association, Inc. (SVDFA) has rescheduled their October shows to the end of September, to be held in Reno. The Rottweiler, Papillon, & German Shorthaired Pointer Clubs have moved their events to Reno with SVDFA. Contact information is listed below the superintendent information further down this page. 
 

We are sad to announce that our 2020 AKC All-Breed Dog Shows, Obedience, & Rally Trials have all been cancelled due to the ongoing situation with COVID. The restrictions became increasingly hard to abide by & continue getting tougher. The reopening of Nevada is "on hold" at the "Phase 2" level with a crowd size limit of 50. 

The safety & well-being of our Judges, Exhibitors, Volunteers, & Community are of utmost importance to our club & with so many known (& more so the unknown) risks, we determined we could not in good conscience proceed. 

We know you were looking forward to a show ~ so were we! It was not an easy choice to make but in the end, it was the only choice we could make. 

So we look ahead to 2021 ~ a new & hopefully healthier year! We are planning to add a third day & NOHS to our weekend & hope that you can join us then! Please plan to visit Nevada for our 2021 AKC All-Breed Dog Shows, Obedience & Rally Trials! We look forward to seeing you here!

COVID-19 situation & closure of the Carson City
Community Center. We will keep you updated as

Plan to pitch in & help us out at the 
Reno Pet Show ~ March 27-29, 2020.
We are organizing a public education booth as
"Friends of the Northern Nevada Dog Fancy",
handing out AKC brochures, giving demonstrations,
bringing in different breeds of dogs, trying to raise
awareness about being a responsible pet owner & the
benefits of owning a purebred dog. Check out the
NNDF  tab above for more information & to volunteer!
